UvA historians of science Jeroen van Dongen and Emilie Skulberg have served as guest curator at Rijksmuseum Boerhaave in Leiden for the exhibition “Closer to the black hole”. This focuses on the present and past science of black holes and will run at Boerhaave from 21 March 2024 until 5 January 2025. On March 23, Van Dongen will introduce the exhibition in a lecture at Boerhaave. The exhibition follows from the collaboration between Boerhaave and the Dutch Black Hole Consortium.
