PhD defense Jaco de Swart

Vossius member Jaco de Swart will defend his PhD thesis, supervised by Jeroen van Dongen, Gianfranco Bertone and Erik Verlinde, on 4 February 11:00 at the Aula of the University of Amsterdam.
Jaco, who holds degrees in physics and philosophy, has studied the history of cosmology, and dark matter research in particular. After his defense, he will join the history of science group of David Kaisr at MIT with a fellowship of the American Institute of Physics.
