Eleá de la Porte is a PhD candidate at the early modern history department. Her research focuses on the relationship between history and Enlightenment in the Dutch Republic. The research project is funded by the programme 'Promoties in de Geesteswetenschappen' of the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO).

·         Intellectual history of early modern Europe 
·         Dutch Enlightenment 
·         Western historical thought
