Zeeman Fellows at Vossius Center

The Vossius Center is proud to announce that the two Zeeman Fellows for 2019 will be Karine Chemla and Jürgen Renn. The Zeeman Fellows are hosted by the Vossius Center and endowed by the Pieter Zeemanfonds.

Karine Chemla is Director of Research at the Centre national de la recherche scientifique (CNRS) and is also a senior fellow at the New York University Institute for the Study of the Ancient World.

Jürgen Renn is since 1994 director at the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science and holds an honorary professorship for the history of science at the Humboldt University of Berlin and at the Free University of Berlin.
